Far Out take a trip back to Rio De Janerio circa the 1950s with this devastating double header from Afro-Brazilian alchemists the Ipanemas. Taken from their forthcoming CD only album for Far Out ('Samba is our Gift'), these two tracks are perfect examples of classic Afro-Brazilian samba, where cocoa-rich grooves bubble with African vibes and the most mellifluous, understated jazz playing possible.
