Som Imaginário

Som Imaginário

Formed to support Milton Nascimento on a run of recordings and tours, Som Imaginário were integral to Brazil’s Clube Da Esquina movement in the early 70s. A heady blend of progressive rock, folk, psychedelia, jazz and traditional Brazilian rhythm flows through their music, which flew the countercultural freak-flag amid the context of Brazil's military dictatorship.
