Ivan 'Mamão' Conti releases new single 'Encontro' from forthcoming album Poison Fruit

Today Ivan 'Mamão' Conti releases 'Encontro', the second single from his forthcoming album Poison Fruit.

With his first album in over two decades, (aside from a collaboration with Madlib) the experimental 72 year old, and one-third of Azymuth, fuses past and future across eleven tracks of rootsy, electronic samba and tripped out jazz, beats and dance music. 

Listen to the percussive samba jazz of the new single 'Encontro', which features Alex Malheiros on bass and Fernando Moraes on rhodes and synths .

Formerly known as 'Azul', the track was remixed by Max Graef, Glenn Astro and Contours for an exclusive Mamão remix 12" back in 2016.
