Following the release of Victor Assis Brasil's Toca Antonio Carlos Jobim last week and Jose Mauro's Obnoxius before that, Piri's Voces Querem Mate is next in the ongoing reissue series of the legendary Brazilian producer Roberto Quartin's peerless early 1970s catalogue. The newly remastered album drops on vinyl, CD and digitally on 7th April, but until then stream the tripped out 'Cupido Escupildo' led by the mesmerising vocals of Tita Lobo, wife of Edson Lobo who plays bass on both of Victor Assis Brasil's Quartin recordings.
