Far Out drop some heavyweight Brazilian space-funk pressure with this double header from Binario, featuring a re edit from the man-like Daz-I-Kue.

Imagine if Hermeto Pascoal, jammed with David Axlerod & Liquid Liquid and were produced by David Holmes, and you’re on the right track. Binario are an eight piece collective of 22 to 25 years olds who have just finished recording their debut CD. Produced by Dave Brinkworth (Harmonic 33) and Far Out’s Joe Davis in Rio De Janeiro it’s slated for a release autumn 2007 on Far Out. Their sound can only be described as ‘out there’ - where samplers, amplified guitars and 2 drum kits collide to produce an epic sound of fresh freaky rock-funk, live.

On the flip there is a re edit from Daz-I-Kue of the Bugz in the Attic who comes with a super phat old skool hip hop re edit. Daz is becoming a favourite here at Far Out with his re edits and this one is particularly hot with it’s pysched out vibe that builds up and up and eventually gives way for the climax from the original track. As with all the 7”s both tracks have been mastered by the legendary John Dent for a super fat sound.
