A1 - ‘Rocinha’ (Original)

This first offering from techno legend Kirk Degiorgio’s forthcoming album release is reminiscent of the classic Pepe Bradock sound of the late 90’s. ‘Rocinha’ is an 8-minute journey of lush pads and shiny synth explosions driven by a solid techno beat with underlying samba rhythm setting the perfect summer scene for festival revellers.

A2 - ‘Babilônia’ (BNJMN Remix)

Bournemouth producer BNJMN makes his debut on Far Out with this bubbling melodic dreamscape of a remix. Granular synths imparting hypnotic undertones sit atop time-stretched ethereal rhythmic elements, reaching deep into the listener’s subconscious to give us a peek at deep explorative side of this Rush Hour alumni.

B1 - ‘Dendê’ (Spatial Remix)

Londoner Spatial returns to remixing duties for back to back releases following up his broken rhythm rework of Babilonia’ in the first 12” of the series.  With recent output on the likes of WNCL and Niche & Bump highlighting his near industrial approach to rudeboy techno, for this remix Spatial opted for cleaner, crisp percussion elements. Part broken beat laced with samba sprinkles, this killer groove mutates through percolating synth stabs and ever deep subs set to keep the dancefloor busy.

B2 - ‘Borel’ (Jonas Kopp ‘My Vision of Samba’ Remix)

Buenos Aires native Jonas Kopp, since emerging on the scene at the age of 19, has risen to a level of notoriety often reserved for techno stalwarts garnering worldwide accolades and landing him a regular fixture at Berghain since 2010.
His rework of Borel perfectly embodies the spirit of Kirk’s project with a mixture of samba drum elements, tough techno grooves made even heavier by scary and cavernous bass drops and a pulsating synth line that will guarantee a state of hypnosis for all the ravers.
